Wood Stair Spindles & Balusters
Our wood stair balusters and wood newel posts are divided into two subcategories – the Craftsman Collection and the Colonial Collection. Wood balusters, also called wood stair spindles or stair pickets, are available here in a variety of wood species and come either unfinished or primed and ready for painting. Stair pickets wood includes beech, cherry, hemlock, maple, poplar and red oak. Primed balusters can be painted any color to match or accent your handrail or stair treads.
Balusters come in a variety of configurations, including tapered, square, square top, pin top and eased-edge square. Depending on your selection, you'll find balusters available in lengths ranging from 31” to 42”. Newels are available in the same wood choices as balusters and come as universal newels, starting newels, intermediate newels, second-floor-landing newels and rake newels.
